I called Jim as a consult after ripping up my Florida room in the home I just recently moved into. The room had horribly stained carpet on top of carpet on top of broken tiles on top of linoleum on top of cement. The cement was VERY uneven so I couldn't put tiles down, but carpet wasn't an option either. I was at my wit's end when Jim suggested the most affordable option (that I didn't even think of) within my budget and built an incredible subfloor. Now, this required a lot of measuring and precision to shave down each 2x4 to perfectly fit the uneven grooves in the cement. Jim put so much love and care into perfecting this space. He even showed me how perfectly level it was when he was finished.
I'm beyond impressed and so grateful for the pride and care Jim puts in his work.

We had an aquarium leak in our home, causing extensive damage. After the water remediation was completed we interviewed 4 local contractors to complete the repairs. Jim stood out far and away from the others from the start. He arrived on time, not true for others. I explained what we were looking to do. Replace flooring, drywall and trim. Jim made some suggestions about materials, that we hadn’t even considered, that may be more advantageous in both cost and performance. But the thing I liked the most was the feeling of trust that I got during the interview. I am an auto mechanic and I see the gamut of people from dishonest make-a-buck to people who care about what they do, and the people they do it for. We hired Jim and weren’t disappointed. He completed the job perfectly. He made sure the job site was clean every day, and things were set up so our family could function in our home during the process.
